Annual Meeting & Panels
In line with its mission, The Mongolia Society holds a formal meeting each year, usually in the fall, that brings together its members and others involved or interested in Mongolia to connect with each other and explore new developments and ideas in the field of Mongolian Studies. These annual events provide opportunities for the Society's members to meet with its leadership as well as to attend and participate in scholarly panels, discussions, film and video presentations, museum and library exhibits, concerts, and more.
The Society's Annual Meeting & Panels is a prime occasion to learn about current research in Mongolian Studies and to make or renew contacts with others in the field.
Local institutions or community organizations often assist the Society in hosting meetings, which often includes organizing special events that highlight local Mongolian American cultural life.
